children need. The Someday Isle Craft department is at
http://www.somedayisle.com/crafts.htm

Art materials are on the must-have list of basic toys for kids of all ages. Working with art and craft materials helps pre-schoolers express feelings
and ideas, develops creativity, provides first-hand experience with color and shapes, and exercises muscles needed for writing. Read an article about setting up a no-fuss no-mess pre-school art area at
http://www.somedayisle.com/crafts/articles/art-area.htm

Art and craft projects are a favorite for school-age children. Making things provides a sense of accomplishment, and is relaxing, too. Art and craft work promotes imagination, eye-hand coordination, and tenacity. Art supplies need to grow with the child's age and ability. Providing a good area to work on projects will make things easier for everyone. Check out the must-have list of art supplies for children age 5-12 at http://www.somedayisle.com/crafts/articles/checklst.htm

Craft kits pull together a variety of materials to create a specific project. They have instructions that allow children to learn new skills and to follow directions. Putting all of the necessary supplies in one box is a tremendous convenience, and makes it easier for children to make a satisfying project. The craft kits we offer all let a child be creative, and each project will be unique. Craft kits are a boon to busy parents, because they offer really imaginative and involving activities with less effort. Find a variety of craft kits at http://www.somedayisle.com/crafts/kits.htm And don't forget Beads and Jewelry kits. Bead kits are beloved by girls and they are at http://www.somedayisle.com/crafts/beads.htm

JUGGLING IS GOOD FOR YOU
Juggling is a healthy activity for your body and your mind! Juggling stimulates your body and your mind simultaneously, completely engaging them in one task. The result is increased concentration, less stress, and increased agility.

Many schools now teach juggling. Children benefit from juggling because it promotes coordination, balance, and concentration. It can be done anywhere! An entire classroom can step aside their desks and take a juggling break.

And there is no age limit for the benefits of juggling. Elderly people find it to be light gymnastic exercise, kinetic therapy, and it maintains agility. It is a great way for busy adults to break the stress cycle of their work. A few minutes juggling in the office, or on a break, can make you feel relaxed and refocused for work.

For the finest supplies for this fascinating sport, check out our new Juggling page at http://www.somedayisle.com/toys/active/juggling.htm

GAMES FOR PRESCHOOLERS
"Will you play with me?" is what 3-5 year-olds ask often. It's important to be able to say "Yes!" with heartfelt enthusiasm. Make it fun for everyone with a good game. Many family games require reading, or have complex rules and strategy. The youngest children can be left out of a game like Monopoly. No longer. Now there is a great selection of games that will engage a three-year-old, and be fun for you, too. Games help children learn to take turns, exercise memory, and develop strategy and reasoning skills. A good preschool game will have simple rules, and sometimes a more advanced rule set. The game should have a theme that little ones understand, such as toys or pets. Good games have physical action that is represented by the game pieces, such as the Taxi ride in "Hallo Taxi". A small child's imagination lets them feel like they are moving with the game pieces, and think how much fun that must be! Find a great selection of preschool games at
